HMDCS wants to be obedient to both the laws of God and the laws of our province, and has in place a comprehensive abuse prevention policy.  We address the issue of child abuse because,

1. We believe that child abuse is an affront to God and that he abhors sin;
2. We care about child(ren), believe the protection and well-being of a child is everyone’s responsibility; and want to ensure that HMDCS is a safe and secure place for them.
3. We care about employees and volunteers who work with child(ren), and never want them to be placed in a position where they could be falsely accused;
4. We want to ensure that our school maintains policy standards that actively support legislation designed to protect child(ren).
